Coach Toone brings more than eight years of college coaching experience and more than a decade of specialized player-development experience to the Highline College softball program. Her background spans collegiate coaching, program leadership, recruiting, player development, strength and agility, mental performance, and professional baseball.
Coach Toone started at Clark College in 2018 as the pitching coach and one of the youngest coaches in the league. Coach Toone finished her last two seasons at Clark as  the Head Coach, where she helped build a program that excelled both competitively and academically. In her final season, Toone produced nine Academic All-Americans, ranked 32nd nationally in team GPA, and earned Scholar Team of the Year honors.
 Now in her third year at Highline, Coach Toone works across multiple areas of player development as the program’s Pitching Coach, Strength & Agility Coach, Mental Skills Coach, and Infield Coach. Her broad coaching background allows her to develop athletes from multiple angles while preparing them to compete at the next level.
 Her experience also extends into professional baseball. Coach Toone worked in the front office of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization, gaining experience in professional baseball operations and contributing to a championship-winning organization.
 A lifelong softball player, Coach Toone’s career culminated in playing internationally in China, fulfilling a dream that began as a young athlete watching her aunt play and coach. Her journey has now come full circle at Highline College, where she first learned to pitch as a young player.
 Alongside her college coaching career, Coach Toone has spent more than a decade as a private coach, specializing in pitcher and hitter development. She has worked with athletes across the country, consulted with numerous teams and organizations, traveled nationally for recruiting camps, and helped players reach the highest levels of collegiate softball.
 Coach Toone brings a wealth of experience, a passion for developing athletes, and a deep understanding of what it takes to move from aspiring player to collegiate competitor.
