Skyler Roehr enters the 2026-27 season as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Highline College, having established a championship standard since taking over the program in the spring of the 2023-2024 season. Since his appointment, Roehr has amassed an overall record of 37-4-5. Under his leadership, the team captured the 2025-2026 NWAC Championship with a remarkable undefeated 17-0-3 season, an achievement that earned him the NWAC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year award. He has also guided the program to back-to-back West Region Conference titles in the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons. A proven developer of collegiate talent, Roehr has helped transfer 11 players to NCAA Division I programs, with many more advancing to compete at the Division II and Division III levels.

Roehr’s coaching philosophy centers on a highly engaged, proactive brand of soccer. He emphasizes a high-pressing tactical structure, demanding an aggressive approach in both attack and defense with a continuous desire to control the ball and dictate the tempo of the match.

 His coaching career began at his alma mater, Thomas Jefferson High School, before he joined the Highline College staff as an assistant coach for two and a half years. Beyond Highline, his expertise extends across the region's soccer landscape. He coached with the Tacoma Stars in USL2, serving as an assistant in 2024 and 2025 before being named head coach for the 2026 season. Roehr is also the boys' varsity head soccer coach at Auburn High School where he was named the NPSL 3A Coach of the Year and, as of 2026, and serves as the head coach for the 09/10 WA Elite Player Development (EPD) Regional team.

Before stepping onto the sidelines, Roehr's efforts on the pitch as a player helped Highline secure a conference championship during the 2017-2018 season. He continued his collegiate playing career at Oklahoma City University before returning to the Pacific Northwest during the 2019-2020 global pandemic to begin his coaching journey.

 Roehr holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at Western Governors University.
