Basketball With a Tough Weekend
(Dec. 14-20)

The Men's squad hosted the NWAC Crossover Tournament and although leading in all three games, ended up getting swept, losing all three of its games. The first loss was to Spokane 95-89, followed by losses to Mt. Hood 74-73, and finally to Shoreline 90-69. With the losses the team falls to 4-5 for the season. The T-Birds have a busy two weeks ahead with six games to close out 2025.

One bright spot for Highline has been the play of freshman guard Dane Lewis. He averaged 17.6 points in the Crossover Tournament and leads the team averaging 17 points per game.

For the upcoming week the team hosts Palm Beach State College (Dec. 17); plays at Peninsula College (Dec. 18); and hosts Olympic College (Dec. 19)
